General aftercare of the extensions

DO:

• Use a microfiber towel to dry your hair as it causes less damage and breakage to the hair.

• Wait until your hair is 80% dry before using a hair dryer to avoid excessive heat damage.

• Brush hair from bottom to top, gently, and at least twice daily to avoid tangles.

• Use a professional grade shampoo, sulfate free to avoid any stripping of the cuticle.

• Braid your hair for bedtime and for swimming.

• Use a silk pillowcase, if possible, to preserve hair’s natural shine and prevent tangling. Your skin will love it as well!

• Maintain your hair extensions every 4-6 weeks or as per your stylist’s recommendation.  

DON’T:

• Do not use Volume Shampoo as it can cause tangling.

• Do not apply conditioner to scalp, especially when wearing keratin bonds or tape ins.

• Do not over wash your hair as the extensions can become dry in the long run. Try dry shampoo in between washes and always use hair oils and serums to keep your hair extensions hydrated and healthy.

• Never go to bed with your extensions wet as it can cause unwanted tangling and matting.
